IMAGES: Let the Dogs Out, Er ... Off

Two activists from Dogs Deserve Better were at the on July 12, trying to make a point: It’s time to break the chains on dogs … at least for a little while.

The organization takes dogs in and retrains them to live without needing to be bound by the chains. The activists noted that, yes, sometimes, dogs need to be chained, but they shouldn’t be chained all day, especially during the summer months without food and water.

Dogs Deserve Better is transforming Michael Vick’s notorious Bad Newz Kennels into the Good News Rehab Center for Chained and Penned Dogs, and is raising awareness about the need to “let the dogs out” or, off the collar, in this case.
