Highly Anticipated Buffalo Wild Wings to Open in Concord in November
Planning board approves minor tweaks to Loudon Road restaurant design.
According to documents and testimony from planning staffers, the company is making minor changes to their building designs and signs on a corporate level and was requesting approval to alter the previously approved plans.
Steve Henninger, a city planner, explained that the changes included a change in the color of the building and the addition of a graphic element to the window awnings. The Architectural Design Review Committee approved the changes at a previous meeting, he noted.
According to City Planner Gloria McPherson, the company seemed to be altering the checkerboard screening and some other facade colors along railings as part of a new corporate look.
The board approved the changes unanimously.
Tyler Penas, a member of the corporate marketing team at Buffalo Wild Wings, noted in an email that while a specific opening date had not be set, it would probably be around November.
“I can tell you now that the restaurant in scheduled to open in mid-November,” he noted.
Currently, there are two Buffalo Wild Wings locations in New Hampshire, in Newington and Rochester.
