According to a report, officers were called to West Portsmouth Street for a report of a domestic disturbance on that evening. A woman alleged that her husband, Shiek, was "extremely intoxicated" and was breaking things at the home. The officer also learned that Shiek allegedly crashed his car into the home and another vehicle on May 5. Previously, on May 6, officers were called to West Portsmouth Street to retreive a 2003 Nissan from the Merrimack River. Shiek had reportedly driven the car into the river on May 5.
