UPDATE: Those Interested in Attending Biden Event Must RSVP

The Vice President will be in Manchester Thursday.

UPDATE, Feb. 22, 2 p.m.: Vice President Joe Biden, who earlier this week announced a visit to New Hampshire, will hold a grassroots rally at the New Hampshire Institute of Art at 148 Concord Street in Manchester, from 2-4 p.m. Thursday. Those interested in attending the event must sign up here.

UPDATE, Feb. 21, 12:30 p.m.: Vice President Joe Biden will speak at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester on Thursday afternoon, according to an Obama campaign source.

John DiStaso of the Union Leader is reporting that Biden will rally supporters and talk about jobs and the economy at the event. The White House has yet to release any further details about the event, but is expected to provide that information later today.

The Obama campaign first announced last week that Biden would be visiting New Hampshire.

An earlier story from Feb. 14 follows:

Vice President Joe Biden will return to New Hampshire next week, WMUR is reporting.

The television station said the Obama campaign has confirmed that Biden will attend a campaign event on Feb. 23 in Manchester. No further details are being released at this point.

Biden was just in New Hampshire on Jan. 26, where he made stops in Rochester and Portsmouth.

The Vice President also visited the state twice late last year, and President Obama made a stop at Manchester Central High School in November. New Hampshire is considered a key swing state in November's presidential election.

Didn't Biden, at some rally, ask a wheel-chair bound veteran to "stand-up"? Yup, this is the guy that is just a heartbeat away from taking over the Oval Office, how comforting.

OMG - he couldn't see the man was in a wheelchair!!! he must be incapable of everything!

Actually VP Biden has made some real good ones - he's famous for it. He's also a nice guy, plenty smart, with good sense of humor.

Nice try at the spin Jan Schmidt, but that is incorrect. Biden spoke and then corrected himself immediately. He was looking right at the guy...

I suppose that you cannot tell a person in a wheelchair to stand up for their rights?

Come on, don't be ridiculous. I highly doubt you even care about folks with disabilities, much less a common American phrase for asking people to address the audience.

Even Joe Biden isn't this stupid:
Congressional Republicans hold hearing on birth control and dont let any women testify.
Brilliant!!!!!

I appreciate the sentiment, Bob, but "you wouldn't be born if . . . " is a lousy argument to defend a bunch of men deciding whether and when women should bear children and have access to legal medical treatment.
Santorum and the GOP think that women are nothing more than baby-makers.
Nearly all women of child-bearing years use birth control, including an overwhelming majority of catholic women.

Joe Biden would never take that position. His wife (the Doctor) would kill him.

Quote from EVERY SINGLE GOP member of Congress:

"If we just vote no on everything, the economy will continue to stink and we can thrown the KenyanMarxistSocialistCommunistMuslim out of office."

The evaluation of the meaning of “natural born citizen” in the Constitution comes from Dr. Herbert W. Titus, of counsel to the law firm William J. Olson.
He previously taught constitutional law, common law and other subjects for 30 years at five different American Bar Association-approved law schools. From 1986 to 1993 he was the founding dean of the College of Law and Government at Regent University.
And before that, he was a trial attorney and special assistant U.S. attorney with the Department of Justice.
His degrees are from Harvard and the University of Oregon, and he’s admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, appellate courts in the 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th and other districts. His practice has taken him into courts more than a dozen different states.
